Sold to Sino Biopharm for $110M in 2021

Softhale is a Belgium-based company focused on respiratory disease, currently, focused on asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), but with the potential to treat other disease states. Its next-generation Soft Mist Inhalation (“SMI”) device is based upon differentiated technology and allows for more efficient drug deposition into the lungs. Softhale was sold to Sino Biopharma in March 2021 for $110 million and additional payments related to regulatory and commercial milestones.
